Long before Contour Works was established, Evan and Ryan were passionate young mountain bikers, spending their free time riding, building trails and exploring the natural environment. What began as a hobby became a career in 2009, when they started professional trail building in Victoria’s High Country, helping create one of Australia’s first alpine mountain bike destinations at Mt Buller…

A driving force behind Contour Works, Evan brings expertise across every aspect of trail building, from design and development through to construction and delivery.
His passion lies in creating exceptional, enduring trail assets that are thoughtfully designed, expertly built and provide lasting value to the communities that enjoy them.
Ryan De La Rue
An accomplished machine operator and skilled rider, Ryan has played a key role in delivering major trail developments across Australia.
With extensive experience working in diverse and environmentally sensitive landscapes, he brings a deep understanding of operating in challenging conditions—from ancient tropical rainforests to remote alpine environments.
