Contour Works was engaged to upgrade the entire XC trail network to bring new life into the trails that had endured the harsh alpine elements for over a decade. A focus was put on upgrading the descending sections of trails that had eroded and grown in substantially. We achieved this by addressing drainage issues, increasing grade reversals and reshaping berms and features to promote flow. A large amount of time was spent removing unwanted rock from the alpine soil with our speciality excavator sieve bucket.
