We design and build asphalt pump tracks and jump parks for councils, developers and communities. We set how a track rides in the earthworks before any asphalt goes down. Our background covers trail building, landscaping, and civil earthworks, so the same crew handles both shaping and surfacing.
Take off ramps and ride surface.
A dirt takeoff wears into a different shape over a season, which changes the jump. We build concrete takeoffs instead, or prefabricated ramps where the design suits, so the takeoff stays where we set it.
At Rainy Mountain Park in Cairns, the jump line steps up through six jumps and loops back to the start mound, so riders can work up the line without walking back. It is surfaced in AC7 asphalt, which is smooth, grippy and durable, with concrete kerb edging around the perimeter to protect the edge and let a mower run straight past.

Babinda is one of Australia’s wettest towns. The 350 square metre track there is asphalt with turf surrounds, so it can be ridden year-round and needs very little upkeep.
The 400 square metre track at Mareeba sits alongside a new playground, so families can use both at once. The infilled areas were mulched and planted with native grasses to avoid awkward mowing access.
Dimbulah is small and sits against the main street in the town centre. It is built around changes of direction and features that let riders keep progressing rather than plateau on the first visit.

Resurfacing and repair.
Dirt and stabilised gravel surfaces break down. They rut under braking, wash out in heavy rain, and the repair comes around again every wet season.
Where an original surface has failed, we go back, keep the shape if the earthworks underneath are sound, and resurface with asphalt. That is a smaller job than a rebuild.
